Over a decade ago I started a blog to document my travels while studying abroad. This was part diary, part assuring my mother I was alive in the days before affordable international phone plans.

I tried, numerous times, to restart blogging. It never stuck.

Yet, this gem is too amusing to waste, so I’ve embedded my embarrassing old posts in an act of faith that I may, one day, reemerge into the blogging universe.
